WHO IS BRYANT "BB" NOLDEN
Bryant Nolden is a native of Flint Michigan, who is dedicated to the overall growth and development of his community. His goal has always been to help those within his city thrive by bridging the gap and bringing the community together. Through Nolden's extensive background as an educator, he has been able to shine as a nurturer while handling conflict resolution. BB is known for using his outstanding leadership skills, resourcefulness, and excellent communication skills to encourage development of a sustainable community education programs. Bryant is self motivated and remains enthusiastic about his city and the work he does for his community.

Monitor the day-to-day operation of 14 County Departments

Chair of Major Grants Committee (2009 – 2014)

Vice President Flint City Council (2012- 2014)

Monitored and reviewed all federal grants received by the City of Flint for the City Council.

Leveraged 2 million dollars of Community Block Grant funds to demolish 174 homes on Flint’s east side.

Worked to secure three hundred thousand dollars of Community Block Grant funds to allow local contractors to bid for demolition work in north Flint.

Planned in conjunction with RACER Trust Group to inform community stakeholders concerning the remediation of the Buick City Brownfield site in the City of Flint. (3rd Ward)

Advocated for the development of the plan around community education in Master Plan adopted by the City Council October 2013
